~*~::{Rant #1: I Hate People}::~*~

I've had enough of this.  People lying to me.  Everybody lies to me and thinks it's okay.  It's not f**cking okay to lie to someone.  Okay, an occasional lie here and there, I can handle it, but the constant barrage of lie after lie after lie (yes, after lie) isn't okay anymore. 

This isn't directed at one person in particular, but everyone as a whole, actually.  Everybody does it.  A little white lie (No, dear, your pants don't make your ass look fat) (Yes, I'd love to go out with you) (I heard Janet said that Brad said that Brittany said that Jack said that Mary said that...etc, etc) to gossip that affects everyones lives.  

Now, after years and years of "research" I have come to 2 rules of people that work with me.  

1.) I hate people - trust nobody.  I have been lied and cheated so many times that I just find it easier to not trust people.  Everytime I do, they piss all over that trust and just pretend it's not there.  (there are obvious exceptions)

2.) People are of a hostile nature and only like to appease themselves - they will do whatever they can to make themselves happy over other people no matter what the cost usually.  There are obvious exceptions that make this not true (marriage, lust, wanting to get in someone's pants, best friends, etc) but what I have come to believe is that people are, mostly, good people that do bad things.  They don't always try to do these bad things, though.  It is just instinct. (again, obvious exceptions....) 

Now...some of you may wonder why I've posted something like this instead of a writing...well, basically, I'm just being really pissy right now...but...yes.  That's about it.  I am yet another person that is good doing bad things apparantly, because I can't appease anyone.  

Just remember...you can't make everyone happy.  Don't try to.  You'll only hurt yourself in the process.
